In her free time, Jen enjoys spending time with her husband and two kids (age 6 and 2). Some of their favorite things include going for walks on the trail near their home, doing puzzles, reading, cooking, and hanging out at the lake together.
Jen Vennart is a pediatric occupational therapist with over 9 years of experience. After graduating from the University of Kansas with a Masters of Occupational Therapy in 2009. Jen began her career working in a rural special education cooperative in Kansas, serving children birth-21. During her time at the co-op, Jen served on the Autism team and was trained in the administration of the ADOS-2 (Autism Diagnostic Observation Schedule). After having her son, she transitioned to a job closer to home. Jen worked for a year and a half at an applied behavior analysis (ABA) behavioral school in KC, MO. Working under the direction of board certified behavior analysts (BCBAs), Jen gained valuable experience working with a wide range of children with behavioral disorders and autism spectrum disorders. She spent the last three years working for the Gardner-Edgerton School District with children Pre-K-8th grade.
